DESCRIPTION
Lower Blepharoplasty, also known as Blepharoplasty Eye Bags (BAG), is a plastic surgery procedure used to correct the appearance of eye bags that form under the lower eyelids. This technique is usually performed on patients over the age of 35 and aims to reduce excess skin, fat and muscle in the eye area, resulting in a more youthful and refreshed appearance.
The Lower Blepharoplasty procedure is usually performed under local anesthesia and sedation, and begins with an incision at the lower lash line or inside the lower eyelid. Through this incision, excess fat, skin and muscle are removed, and the remaining skin is redraped to achieve a smoother, firmer appearance. After surgery, sutures are applied and a cold compress is placed on the eye area to reduce swelling.
