DESCRIPTION
VASER-assisted gynecomastia is a surgical procedure used to treat enlarged male mammary glands, using ultrasound technology to remove fat from the affected area. The procedure is performed through small incisions, resulting in a faster and less painful recovery than traditional gynecomastia surgery.
First, an incision is made in the affected area and an anesthetic and blood vessel constrictor solution is injected. Next, a VASER (ultrasound) cannula is introduced to break down and remove fat in the affected area, followed by removal of excess glandular tissue and loose skin. Finally, a suture is placed to close the incision.
