DESCRIPTION
Gynecomastia is a condition characterized by the enlargement of breast tissue in men, which can cause a feminine appearance in the chest. This problem can be caused by hormonal factors, genetics or even the use of certain medications. The surgical procedure to treat gynecomastia is called subcutaneous mastectomy, and consists of the removal of excess breast tissue through a small incision in the areola or armpit. In more complex cases, it may be necessary to perform a complementary liposuction to achieve a better aesthetic result.
